Last Week: 3-4
Overall: 26-23-3
Virginia Tech Hokies -13 vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (Thursday)
The Hokies are coming off a bye week and prior to that they had three cupcakes (CMU, WF, Duke) so I have a hunch that Bud Foster is going to have his defense ready to stuff the Yellow Jacket triple-option attack. Couple that with a hefty homefield advantage and the Hokies wanting to make a statement on a national stage that the first two weeks of the season are behind them and I look for this to be blowout.
Utah Utes +5 vs. TCU Horned Frogs
This game is going to go down to the wire and The MUSS is going to be cranked up to 11, so while I like the Frogs to win you've gotta take the points here.
Baylor Bears +7.5 @ Oklahoma State Cowboys
Looks like the Bears have gotten it together since being pantsed on national TV by the Frogs. I'm not sure how it'll happen, but something tells me the Bears win this one straight up, though this might just be wishful thinking on my part since they are directly tied to the Frogs strength of schedule in the BCS computer rankings.
Oklahoma -3@ Texas A&M Aggies
Oklahoma has struggled on the road so far but A&M just isn't very good. The score of last weeks win against Tech was deceiving because the Red Raiders fumbled twice in the end zone to negate touchdowns, Oklahoma won't make the same mistake.
Texas Longhorns -4 @ Kansas State Wildcats
Texas is undefeated on the road and Kansas State is a one-trick pony. If the Horns can cut off the head of the snake (RB Daniel Thomas), which they can, then this game will become a laugher by the middle of the 2nd quarter.
