The school is adding bleachers to increase the capacity, and they believe only 2,000 tickets will be available for the general public. This game will be the second sell out in three years, the last was when Virgina came to town. Travelers to the game you have been warned for the most unruley fans in the game, brown every where, and stadium construction to mess up your view.
Dennis Dodd CBSSports.com: In case you were in a cave MWC commish went to DC to lobby for more acces from the BCS, most likely in the form of an auto bid. "I don't know if we're ultimately looking for government intervention," Thompson said, "we're looking for public awareness." A side note, the MWC is the only league to not sign or agree to sign the new BCS deal that extends the contract on ESPN through the 2013 season.

This could be a ploy to put the pressuer on Tim Jefferson who finished the season out as quarterback.
Rusty Simmons San Francisco Chronicle: This is old news but Andy Ludwig the forme Utah offensive coordinator took a cup of coffee from Kansas State to take the same position jump shipped to Cal. All of this after never even coaching a game for Kansas State and just shows how bad Ludwig wanted out of Utah, because of the fans dislike with the up and down play calling. Plus, he took the job at Kansas State without ever stepping foot in Manhattan and set their program back who just re-hire Bill Snyder back after a short retirement. "I've kept in touch with him over the years and followed his career, and we have a lot of history together," words by Coach Teford from Cal.
Jay Drew Salt Lake Tribune: BYU picked up another football recruit for the 2010 class this one is Alta High offensive lineman Jordan Black. Black was all-region last year and started every game for the 5A squad that won the Utah state championship. Other players who have verbally committed to BYU for the 2010 season are Timpview defensive lineman Bronson Kaufusi, Skyline running back Algernon Brown and Pleasant Grove linebacker Joey Owens.
Dirk Facer Deseret News: University of Utah filled out its last coaching spot with JD Williams who will coach the cornerbacks. Willams had been a long time assistant in the Pac-10 with recent stops at Cal and Washington. "We were looking to find the best coach available, not necessarily locked into any one position. We have a little bit of flexibility on the staff." This is the last hire Utah needs to make for the upcoming season, where Utah replaced both top coordinators, running back coach, offensive line coach, and finally the cornerback coach.
