Last we heard about this Kevin Hart story was that he choose Cal over Oregon without ever being offered a scholarship, Kevin never even visited or talk to coaches at any of his schools. Now there is information of a possible scam artist involved claiming to be go between for big time division one athletics. Wizard of Odds has more to add on this
One item that is puzzling is that the person's name is Kevin Riley, who has the same name as a quarterback at California — the school Hart planned to attend — has disappeared.
That part is very interesting, so this could mean either Kevin Riley is really the QB of Cal who played a nasty a trick who took the money and ran when this story broke, which I think is possible because of the disappearance.
This just keeping more odd as time goes on, but I will keep everyone updated on details.
