Wyoming is 1-0 after defeating Colorado-Colorado Springs in their opener. This game against Denver will help star player Brandon Ewing and the new coaching staff gel the team during this game and the next few non conference games that should propel the Cowboys to a good start. This Denver team should not be afraid of the Cowboys because Denver has all ready faced Oklahoma at the 2K sports tournament in Norman last week. Still look for Brandon Ewing to dominate this game and have Wyoming at 2-0.

The Utes started off with a whipping over South Carolina Upstate and are looking to defeat High Point in hopes of a match up with the University of Washington on Wednesday November 13th and a much needed exposure game on ESPN. However if the Utes lose they play Wednesday and no TV time. These non conference games are huge when MWC teams plays team from power conferences and especially if they win, because this will help the conference as a whole (but more on that in another post). The Utes strength in game one was defense where they were 29% in field percentage against and if they play defense like that High Point has no chance, but they probably do not have a chance anyways because Oklahoma is on par as the Utes talent, so look for Utah to bring on the pressure and defeat High Point and play Washington on Wednesday.

While TCU does have a one win it does come against a non division I opponent in Angelo State but that win was only by 19 points. For Rice this is their season opener and this should be a good matchup for both teams, Rice did lose Morris Almond to the Utah Jazz this year. Rice has been a decent team in C-USA and finished 16-16 last year, but TCU was far worse. This game is between two not so good teams and look for TCU to pull this one out since they are at home.

There is not much to preview here. UNLV is playing Division II Dixie State in their opener. UNLV should blow this team out at home and this game is on TV well kinda? it's on The Mtn. Look for a lot of playing time for the Rebel backups in this game on Tuesday.
