New Mexico head coach Steve Alford and sophomore point guard Hugh Greenwood address the media on Monday, Oct. 30, 2012 at The Pit. Alford addressed the three-game suspension of senior guard Jamal Fenton, the affect his suspension will have on the team in the early going, the status of sophomore center Alex Kirk and Tony Snell and the team's upcoming exhibition games. Hugh Greenwood also talked about the upcoming games and the status of the team as it prepares for the 2012-13 season.
