Five Mountain West games learn TV network in Week 4

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

TV times are announced for multiple conference Mountain West games in Week 4.

Four more television games, as well as times, have been announced involving Mountain West teams, three are non-conference games plus one league matchup. All of these added games are going to be on the ESPN family of networks. Plus, the New Mexico vs. UNLV game will be broadcast on ROOT Sports.

Here are the games:

• San Jose State at Minnesota 12 p.m. ET TV: ESPN/ESPN2
• Utah State at USC 3:30 p.m. ET TV: ABC/ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
• Colorado State at Alabama 7 p.m. ET TV: ESPN2/ESPNU
• UNLV at New Mexico 8 p.m. ET TV: ROOT Sports
• Wyoming at Air Force 10:15 p.m. ET TV: ESPNU

The actually network of three of these games will be known a week before to see if any of these games become any better after Week 3 performance, and the only exception is Wyoming at Air Force that is going to be on ESPNU. At the noon ET time slot there is not a lot of competition for games to go up against San Jose State vs. Minnesota, but it does not really matter since pretty much every single cable or satellite package has ESPN2.

Utah State vs. USC is very much up in the air however we can all breathe a sigh of release that this games is not on the Pac-12 Network. Utah State likely -- at least by me and a few others -- will be the better team, and who knows maybe even favored over the Trojans.

This game will be an ABC regional game and depending on where you live depends on what channel the game will be on. The other three games are Arkansas at Rutgers, West Virginia at Maryland and also Purdue at Wisconsin. None of those game are amazing matchups. According to ESPN's latest schedule, Purdue at Wisconsin is going to be on ABC to be their big game, but going off of recent history ABC does not have just one national game for afternoon games.

These games will likely be split four-ways across the country depending on where one lives, but with the the reverse mirror process all of these games will be seen either on ABC, ESPN2, ESPN or ESPNU. With USC being so popular, expect that game to get a larger viewership on ABC and then ESPN for the reverse-mirror.

Colorado State at Alabama is going up against SMU at Texas A&M to be shown on either ESPN2 or ESPNU, and that game will be decided after the gigantic Texas A&M vs. Alabama matchup in Week 3. Look for the winner of that game to be shown on ESPN2.
