Nevada started the season 3-2 but since then has lost five straight games and are having one of their worst seasons in quite some time. As for San Jose State they are playing some pretty good football even despite their loss last week to San Diego State.
The Spartans are still looking to become bowl eligible as they are 5-4, and that sixth win should come to them on Saturday night in Reno. The Wolf Pack can put up some points so this contest could be close, especially since the Spartans defense is hit and miss. At the end of the day San Jose State's offense will be too much for Nevada to match.
