MWC officially announces return of Boise State

Less than an hour after ESPN's Brett McMurphy reported that the Boise St. Broncos would return to the Mountain West Conference, the MWC Communications office issued a press release announcing the official non-departure of the Broncos.

Reporter Brett McMurphy of ESPN reported early Monday afternoon that sources have told him that the Boise St. Broncos will remain in the Mountain West Conference, reversing a decision to move to the Big East Conference in July 2013.
