College football is still over four months away but that is not stopping 5Dimes from releasing odds for early select games for the opening week of college football. There are still teams that have not finished spring football, quarterback races are still up in the air and some players are still recovering from major injuries.
Well, 5Dimes doesn't care and wants to capitalize on that early cash flow for college football starved gamblers fans, and they will get their fair share of early suckers placing wagers on this game.
There are only 18 games listed but there are five Mountain West games included.
Mississippi (-8.5) vs Boise State (Atlanta): New head coach for the Broncos, Ole Miss on the rise and this being in SEC country makes sense for Mississippi to be the favorite.
Way too early pick: Boise State covers
UNLV at Arizona (-25.5): The Rebels are still looking to see who their starting quarterback will be, but the Wildcats are losing Ka'Deem Carey and are in need of a new quarterback, too.
Way too early pick: Rebels cover, but lose.
Colorado State (pick ‘em) at Colorado (Denver): The Rocky Mountain Showdown has been close for the past few years, and that should be the case for this year.
Way too early pick: Being a pick'em lets go with Colorado State.
Washington (-21.5) at Hawaii: The Warriors are a mess and still have no idea who their quarterback will be, but Washington State is breaking in a new head coach yet Chris Petersen is familiar with Hawaii.
Way too early pick: Starting to look like a homer, but Hawaii will cover and lose.
Utah State vs Tennessee (-6.5): Chuckie Keeton announced on Thursday that he is cleared to play and that makes a huge difference in this game, plus this is not his first trip to SEC country. Keeton led the Aggies to a near upset win over Auburn as a true freshman.
Way too early pick: Utah State covers and win
