So I'm guessing most of you have already filled out a bracket or two or twelve for the upcoming basketball tournament. I have my one and I'm sticking to it, but I thought I would bring attention to an interesting little ditty that the Wall Street Journal has done for the past three years.
The NCAA blind bracket!
Some of you might have known about this already, but it's a fascinating exercise. What do you favor? Can you remove bias from the equation? Most importantly, how does it change your bracket?
For me, the big differences were:
- Stanford and Baylor as Elite 8 teams. Yep.
- New upsets in round one include Dayton, Harvard, Mercer and BYU.
- Arizona was my national champion, rather than Kansas.
So even though you've already staked your claims for a billion dollars, give it a whirl and tell us how it turns out!
