College football way early predictions!

So SB Nation (Jason Kirk) has came out with a way too early prediction of 2014. http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2014/1/24/5341214/college-football-playoff-bowl-projections-2014

Figured I'd argue a little, and yes it is early so it's hard to tell at this point.

Okay so Utah State winning the conference seems possible. Although my thoughts seem to be residing in San Diego State winning the conference. Boise getting another bowl seems inevitable along with Fresno, but also not making the championship game. I believe Fresno lost too much in Derek Carr and Davante Adams for them to overtake San Diego State.

Nevada and Air force returning to bowls? I'm not sure if Air Force has enough talented recruits in the last two years to change my mind. It will be another down year for Air Force after the way they looked this year, more is needed. Now Nevada I can see returning, Fajardo gets healthy again and the team has a lot coming back. I like Colorado State returning to a bowl along with possibly UNLV under the revival Bobby Hauck is giving that program.

UL Lafayette won't be the highest mid major either. Boise will prove that in their regular season match up. I'm thinking a close race between Utah State and Cincinnati on that subject. ( If Cincinnati doesn't go Big 12 on us and Utah State wins the conference) Chuckie Keeton is the difference maker between those two schools.

One final thought, I would love to see Utah State play Stanford in a bowl game!
