The NBA Draft process is getting underway this week at the Portsmouth Invitational which features prospects that are more than likely not going to be lottery picks, or even first rounders. Playing in this tournament and camp will give these players chances to improve their draft stock and catch the attention of NBA scouts.
There are two Mountain West players who are taking part in this camp and they are San Diego State's Josh Davis and Fresno State's Tyler Johnson.
More were invited to the event but San Diego State's Xavier Thames and New Mexico's Cameron Bairstow and Kendall Williams all declined to go to the event.
