For the second straight year the Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior football team takes their fall camp from the makeshift dance hall bunkers to the military bunkers at Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam Thursday.
The team will spend the next six days at the base and this year will focus more on timing and repetition rather than learning a new offensive and defensive scheme. They will also use their time there to explore what the military does everyday. And of course this will be a time for the team to bond by staying off campus together doing various activities like visiting the Arizona memorial.
During this time they will finalize starting positions and start giving the first team more reps in preparation for the USC game at Aloha Stadium on August 29. One position that they don't have to worry about is at QB. Junior Taylor Graham will get majority of the first team reps while last year starter Sean Schoreder and Jeremy Higgins will vie for second string.
But in the meantime the Rainbow Warriors will once again get a miniscule glimpse of what our service academies do every morning for PT. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwwVeq68rPA
