Craig Bohl introduced as Wyoming's head coach

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Wyoming officially introduced Craig Bohl as their 32nd head coach in school history.

Sunday night the Wyoming Cowboys officially announced that Craig Bohl's would be leaving North Dakota State to be the next head coach at Wyoming.

A few things that we do know about Bohl is that he will be staying with North Dakota State to see his team through the playoffs, and possibly earn a third straight FCS national title. If Bohl does achieve that feat then that should help out in recruiting to Wyoming. The length that Bohl could be away from Laramie could be as early as next week or it could be the first week of January.

Normally that would be a big deal but there are new recruiting rules that prohibit in home visits from Dec. 16 through Jan. 15, and Bohl can still send out letters and make phone calls during the dead period.

Next on the agenda is who is going to be on Bohl's new staff, well it will look a lot like North Dakota's current staff:

Wyoming: Sources tell us that Craig Bohl has offered positions at Wyoming to offensive coordinator Brent Vigen, defensive coordinator Chris Klieman, recruiting coordinator (receivers) Kenni Burns, linebackers coach Steve Stanard and offensive line coach Scott Fuchs. We also hear that at this time, Bohl plans to continue to coach his NDSU team through their playoff run.

Keeping his staff together is a great idea to keep things moving as they always had.
