Week 12 of Mountain West football has just four games and all league contests, and there are some intriguing matchups. San Diego State is looking to rebound from a 0-3 start to become bowl eligible, Wyoming will be looking for a big upset over Boise State to possibly earn a bowl game and the same goes for Colorado State who has five wins but they need seven victories to make the postseason.
With that being said here are the early odds of these four games.
Colorado State (-4) at New Mexico: This is a surprisingly low line in my opinion since the Rams have been playing so well the past few weeks. My initial take is to go with the fighting Kapri Bibbs' to cover that line.
Wyoming at Boise State (-20): The Cowboys did not show up on offense last week against Fresno State, and Boise State is not all that much different, well outside of some poor tackling. Gotta stick with the Broncos covering the near three touchdown spread.
San Jose State (-7) at Nevada: The Wolf Pack are enduring a five-game losing streak and despite their great home field advantage they are a touchdown favorite. The way the Spartans have been playing they should be able to win by more than a touchdown.
San Diego State (-5) at Hawaii: This seems like the Aztecs should be favored by more than five points on the road in Honolulu. The Aztecs have been playing well enough of late to throttle the Warriors, and that is my early pick.
