I am going to type up a weekly review of winners and losers for week 7. will do this as unbiased as possible.

Winners

Fresno State

at 5-0 they absolutely demolished Idaho this past weekend.

Derek Carr - Moves into the race for the heisman trophy!

Davante Adams - Offensive player of the week, Broke a school record taking in 16 catches and caught 3 touchdowns

UNLV

First 4 year winning streak in about 10 years....

Bobby Hauck - Is off the hot seat for now.

New Mexico

Beating in state rival NMSU.

Brett Bowers Jr. Defensive player of week with 3 sacks and 1 forced fumble

San Diego State

Finally found its groove and beat Nevada in overtime

Special Teams Player of Week Joel Alesi punted 4 times and got 210 yards

Losers

The Conference

I have been noticing that some of the teams are a little overrated in the conference and believe that we could do better.

Hawaii

They can not win a game, and it has to be frustrating for Norm Chow as he is an amazing coach. I hope Hawaii allows him to get his own players.

Injuries

Chuckie Keeton(Utah State), and Kirby Moore(Boise State).

Utah State

Lost against BYU and without Chuckie Keeton they look like a chicken with its head cut off.

Games of The Week 8?

UNLV(4-2) @ Fresno State(5-0)

If UNLV pulls off the upset I think they will be the dark horse in the race, but if they lose which is expected then they will just have to find other ways

Cupcake of Week 8?

Utah State(3-4) @ New Mexico(2-4)

Both teams need a win badly to keep their programs afloat, Utah State has an excuse but, New Mexico is rebuilding.... I am only calling it a cupcake because its the worst records game.
