UNLV Beats Hawaii, extends streak to four games

Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sp

UNLV Nolan Kohorst, center and the rest of the Rebels sing the school fight song after defeating Hawaii Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at Sam Boyd Stadium. UNLV won 39-37 on a last second field goal by Kohorst.

UNLV Streak Goes On.

As a UNLV fan I am currently happy about the 4 game winning streak, and I have always been a Hauck fan. The man isn't an idiot like most of the UNLV fan base think, or are they trolls.

The final score 39-37

Highlights:

Bobby Hauck: will most likely be put off the hot seat unless they completely mess it up at the end. The man came to a program that had 5-7 seasons under its belt, but Sanford didn't really leave him with much talent. Bobby has finally gotten HIS players and they want him to win.

UNLV's 17 points in the 3rd quarter: after trailing by 4 at the half the Rebels came out and scored 17 unanswered points. They also scored another 6 in the 4th.

Hawaii's 20 points in the 4th quarter: After trailing by 19 points, Hawaii scored 20 unanswered and they almost pulled it off but....

Nolan Kohorst's Field Goal: With only five seconds left Nolan Kohorst kicked the game winning 44-yard field goal at the end of the game to put UNLV at 4-2. Yes, don't rub your eyes Rebel fans a historical 4 game winning streak.

Game Ball: Nolan Kohorst deserves it because it all ended on him, make it he is a hero, and miss it he end up hanging his head in shame. But, he did it I think Kickers are overlooked sometimes.

Next Game for UNLV is at Fresno State.... it should be an interesting game! I expect UNLV going into the game on a high note, and Fresno shouldn't overlook them.
