Nevada's New Helmets
I read about this on the Reno Gazette-Journal's website and did some digging, apparently the new head coach of the Nevada Wolfpack is using helmets to recruit players to Reno.
Two new helmets, one silver helmet, and the other is white. Same logo as the blue ones.

via Twitter from Cfields_21 a new commitment for the Wolfpac
its leaves the question of, which games will these helmets be used in and what kind of tradition does Nevada have in the helmet department. Tradition is not a big thing in changing uniforms in some schools(look at Oregon, Boise, and Baylor)
Does this mean we will see Silver jerseys in the future? I remember the Wolfpack using Silver Pants in the early 2000's at home with their blue jersey's and blue helmet.
A Little Bit of History on the NEVADA Helmet
The originally used silver for their helmets from what I've read and seen.

Switched to Blue through the 79 season.

Nevada used to also have PACK in letters across its helmet, maybe they can bring it back for a retro version of the wolfpack uniforms.

Durring the 2000 and 2001 they did use Silver, but scrapped that look for the mean looking wolf logo that is so awesome and cool.(I am a UNLV fan, but I enjoy watching Nevada win playing non-UNLV games.)

So yes, the battle for the cannon will be awesome if UNLV and Nevada both wear silver helmets, with their stuff... maybe even wear all silver for the away team and the solid Scarlett/Navy Blue for the home team? :D
Anyways I hope you enjoyed my Ramblings on the matter
