PHOTO: New Mexico, Nevada to honor Native Americans with turquoise uniforms

Nike

New Mexico and Nevada will be sporting a different looking uniform during the month of November.

Nike and the N7 program will be teaming up with Florida State, Nevada (men's and women's), New Mexico and Oregon State's basketball teams to help promote Native American heritage month.

These are some bold uniform colors but the turquoise color is a staple in the Native American community, and for the New Mexico Lobos was part of the schools colors through the 1970s. Each team will where these uniforms at one point in this season and here is the lineup for the three Mountain West schools.

Here is a look at all of the teams uniforms.
