Many news organizations are coming out with news of a 7th BCS bowl worth bout 20mil that's about 60mil less than the other 6 BCS bowls. The highest ranked team among the non AQ and now including the big east would play in this new bowl. This seems like the 5 power conferences have kicked the big east out of the AQ status to non AQ status. This is good news for the MW which would be competing directly with the other non AQ as well as the big east for that 7th bowl spot. It seem to me all the more reason for BSU and SDSU to rethink their move to the bif east. If not that's ok because it's looking more like the new members of the MW including USU and SJST will rise the status of the MW and could provide a champion on a regular basis for the 7th bowl.
