Question regarding the Mountain West and football scheduling

If this question was answered before and I just missed the answer, I apologize ...

Is the Mountain West Conference planning on having round-robin scheduling for football in the future?

I know that some conference teams are not playing each other this year (Boise State & Air Force, for example). I was curious if the conference was planning on changing this in the future, or was deciding to stick with eight conference games.

Some folks on the Big East board are speculating that because Air Force is cancelling out of conference games, it may be signaling that they are planning to move to the Big East. I don't really buy that, and suspect it's more because the teams that they were previously scheduled against (Oklahoma and Cincinnati) have had to reduce their out of conference schedules because of additions (or subtractions as far as the Big 12 is concerned) that reduced the number of available out-of-conference games.

I also saw that Air Force didn't seem to like the idea of moving to nine conference games. Does the MWC have a plan to move to nine conference games in the future, or is that off of the table because of Air Force's demands (and possibly other teams' preference for fewer conference games)?
