Robert Upshaw (San Joaquin Memorial High School) today signed on to play basketball next year at Fresno State. Upshaw is a 7 foot center who averaged 18 points, 13 rebounds, 5 blocks and 3 assists a game for a Memorial team that went 23-9 this past season. Upshaw also had scholarship offers from Georgetown, Kansas State, Louisville, UNLV, Oklahoma State, USC, Maryland and Arizona.
