The Temple Owls are apparently the object of C-USA's affections since the departure of Memphis. With both "alliance" conferences sitting at 8 members, it begs the question of, why only one addition? Is this the first of many? Will the Owls even show interest? That C-USA could use a slice of the Philly market is a no brainer, but it could use quite a bit more to even get Temple, which might go a long way to help keep some others. This is the age of uncertainty for the MW / C-USA alliance / merger.
