Big East Looking to Expand Again

The Big East is in discussions to add Temple of the Mid-American Conference for all sports according to sources with the New York Times. The Owls have also been invited to join the new MWC-CUSA alliance. If Temple joins the Big East instead it would give the conference 13 teams for the 2013 season. Speculation would suggest that would place the Owls in the eastern division of the conference, leaving the western division with still another opening in a 14-team conference.
