Early photos of the orange Colorado State helmets have been released.

The Colorado St. Rams are going back in time with an orange-out, by giving tribute to the Colorado A&M Aggies whose colors where orange. This is the third time in as many years that Colorado State will be wearing orange throw back uniforms.

Now there is a photo of the helmet, and is freaking awesome:

The design used in today's game goes back 60 years:

In the 1950s, CSU wore their "bone style" helmets, which were green with a white Rams horn in the foreground.

Today, the school will copy that look, except the bone will be orange, to match the jerseys.

This game against the Hawaii Warriors definitely needs a reason to watch since the matchup is not the most desirable. Because we all know that the game is just a pair of teams that have combined for just two wins on the year. Both are also looking for their first Mountain West win of the year, and in Hawai'i's case, first Mountain West game ever.
