Air Force has scheduled to open the 2014 season against Georgia State at the Georgia Dome. Georgia State will make a return visit to Colorado Springs in 2016.

The Air Force Falcons will be opening up the 2014 season on the road against FBS newbie Georgia St. Panthers, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

2014 will be Georgia State's first full year as a member of the Sun Belt Conference, 2013 will be a transitional year for the Panthers.

This is an interesting game to schedule for Air Force, as well as for Georgia State. On Wednesday, Georgia State announced multiple future games which include playing Oregon, Alabama and West Virginia over the next few seasons. The Air Force game does not add up to those quality of opponents, unless they are in the Big East by then.

There is speculation by some that Air Force could possibly be in the Big East by then, and CBS Sports Jeremy Fowler was told that there is mutual interest. The road block is that Superintendent Michael C. Gould is very much committed to the Mountain West. However he is retiring next year, and that could lead to a possible league affiliation change since the Big East wants to get to at least 14 teams.
