The forgone conclusion has become official... WAC has added CSU Bakersfield and Utah Valley as it try to reconstruct itself as a basketball conference.
Assuming no more defections WAC is still one short for retaining the men's basketball automatic bid... Have waiver until 2015-16 season to get that right. Chicago State and Texas Pan-American are still out there, and while not the best geographic fit the desperate can't complain. Baseball and softball automatic bids are also at risk, but could look at Great West baseball affiliate members in Northern Colorado and North Dakota to help stabilize things there as well.
