UNLV suspends Chace Stanback for Washburn and Grand Canyon games.

+

UNLV suspended starting forward Chace Stanback for the first two games of the season Monday morning following him pleading guilty to a DUI charge. "Goodman handed down a 30-day suspended sentence and fined him $585. Stanback will also have to perform 40 hours of community service as part of his plea agreement with the Clark County District Attorney’s office." "Promptly, UNLV put out a press release roughly an hour after Stanback entered a plea, announcing the 6-foot-8 Los Angeles native's suspension. He'll miss the Rebels' exhibition opener against Washburn on Nov. 1, then the team's first regular season game against Division-II Grand Canyon University on Nov. 11. Both games will be played at the Thomas & Mack Center. He'll return from suspension for the Nov. 14 home rivalry game against Nevada-Reno."
