Colorado State Is No. 7 Seed In 2011 Preseason NIT Tournament

The Colorado St. Rams have earned No. 7 seed in the preseason NIT Tournament and are placed in the West Region where they will take on future Mountain West member Fresno State in the first round and then depending on the outcome will either play host and No. 3 seed Stanford or Fresno State.

The last time we saw the Rams play was in the postseason NIT where they were upset by No. 6 Fairfield at home in the opening round.

North Region
No. 1 Syracuse vs. Manhattan
Albany vs. Brown

East Region
No. 4 Virginia Tech vs. Monmouth
No. 5 George Mason vs. FIU

West Region
No. 3 Stanford vs. Fresno State
No. 7 Colorado State vs. SMU

Midwest Region
No. 2 Oklahoma State vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff
No. 6 Oral Roberts vs. No. 8 UTSA
