Nevada is really just that nice? Part of it is that Nevada had to start at Cal then at Washington so maybe that is why they were willing to push the game back.

The Oregon thing was not by choice
The Ducks got an offer from Oklahoma and just told Nevada they might still play them sometime in the future. Problem for Nevada was the game had no buyout, they couldn’t do anything but take it up the…well you get the idea. The SDSU vs UW game doesn’t make any sense, both were home games on the same weekend. Why buy a game with SDSU when you already have Nevada on the line?

Also it is perhaps beneficial if teams see you as flexible and willing to work with other teams. Might help how other programs view Nevada, similar to them allowing other teams representatives into practices to study the pistol offense. It’s been said that because Nevada has been generous enough to let those teams come watch the offense that other programs have helped guide some recruits Nevada’s way, though I have no idea how true that is.
