It just came out that USC's leading rusher last year had some disciplinary problems lately and he might have to accept the responsibilities of his actions. They are also having injury problems on the offensive line and they were already thin there because of graduation and early departures to the NFL. They are also having a few injury problems on the defensive line of the ball. The story i read on ESPN said they will be counting on a few freshman to step up. The quarterback behind Matt Barkley is a redshirt freshman that was highly touted but does not have experience. Motivation could be a factor too for the seniors since they know now that that can't win the Pac-12 South Division and will not be going to a bowl game for the second straight year. The University of Utah plays USC in the second game of the upcoming season and if Utah can pull that game out on the road i think the Utes have a chance to get to 10 wins including a bowl win. If they lose it could be 7-5 or 6-6 season. Its a very pivotal game.
