Top 10 List of Coaches Who Do the Most with the Least Includes 5 MWC Coaches

Coaches by the Numbers compiled a list that ranked on-field results vs. recruiting class grades and five current/future MWC coaches made the top ten. Troy Calhoun, Chris Petersen, Chris Ault, Gary Patterson, and Kyle Wittingham ranked 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 8th respectively. An explanation of how the list was compiled is at the link.

Not sure how they come up with their numbers

How can they even put Navy and ND in the same category??? ND is the epitome of “doing the least with the most”.

I guess

because maybe they are strict with grades and don’t take in JUCO’s. Even with that they get way better players then 80 percent of college football.

ault getting alot of credit for lasts seasons 13-1 team. its deserved for that season.

nevada underperformed for quite a few years.
