2011 NFL Draft: Recapping Where Mountain West Players Went

The 2011 NFL Draft is in the books so lets take a look at where Mountain West players went and to who. From the current crop of teams actually in the Mountain West there were 10 taken and TCU led all with five players being drafted. The Air Force Falcons, BYU Cougars, Colorado St. Rams, UNLV Rebels and New Mexico Lobos had no players taken in the draft.

It sickens me so much that the Patriots drafted Cannon and WIlliams. Normally I want TCU players to win championships, but they’ll have to hold off on my wishes until they get signed somewhere else.

Pretty amazing that

Malcolm Williams, a backup corner, got drafted and the guy who started in front of him, Jason Teague, went undrafted.

Here’s hoping that this lockout ends soon so that TCU’s undrafted players like Teague, Jimmy Young, Jake Kirkpatrick, Bart Johnson, and Cory Grant can catch on with an NFL team.
