2011 NFL Draft: Hawaii WR Greg Salas Picked 115th Overall To The St. Louis Rams
Greg Salas was the playmaker for Hawaii this past season in the Warriors pass happy offense. Salas was second in the nation last year in receptions with 119. He also had 14 touchdowns and 1,889 yards. He also averaged over 15 yards per carry.
Salas is the second wide receiver that the Rams have taken in this years draft. The other is Boise State wide receiver Austin Pettis who they took him with the 78th overall pick.
The Rams are stacking up on offense to go with quarterback Sam Bradford and running back Steven Jackson. With the weak receivers that the Rams have both Salas and Pettis have the ability to step up and compete for playing time right away.

Both Salas and Pettis should immediately bolster the receiving unit.
Good move by the Rams.
