The unfortunate news of TCU offensive lineman having non-hodgkin's lymphoma on Tuesday. Cannon who was expected to be drafted between the second- and third- rounds, but now he is expected to drop to possibly the fifth round.
Today, Cannon started his chemotherapy treatment and his fourth and last session will conclude on June 29th. Teams are still interested in Cannon, but the risk of drafting him high and the salary that comes with it makes Cannon an uncertainty.
"It will hurt, but if teams think he'll be OK, then it will be OK," one NFL scout said. "He will slide some. It's just a question of how far."
