New Mexico Daily Lobo: Australian star joins UNM
Hugh Greenwood joined the New Mexico basketbal team on Thursday. The 6-foot-3-inch, 209-pound Australian becomes the Lobos’ second 2011-12 signee. He also becomes the fourth Aussie to sign with the Lobos and will join friend and Lobo forward Cameron Bairstow.
Colorado State RB Derek Good stood out in Friday's scrimmage: "Good, now on scholarship after earning his way up on special teams, couldn't go unnoticed in the second major scrimmage of the spring. He led all rushers with 11 attempts for 89 yards (including a 33-yard burst) and ran for two scores. He refused to get tackled before he reached the end zone."
