BYU's Brandon Davies Is Expected To Be On The Bench During Mountain West Tournament

Reports are coming out that suspended BYU forward Brandon Davies has traveled with the team to Las Vegas and is likely to sit on the bench with the team. There was some minor quipping when BYU allowed Davies to participate with the team in cutting down the net after they beat Wyoming to claim a share of the Mountain West regular season title.

BYU head coach was getting irritated when asked about why Davies would be on the bench:

"There is not a message," he said. "This is about our team. OK? And we decided to bring him because we thought it would be good for both of us."

If the school is fine with it then it is their choice to allow Davies to sit on the bench. He is still a student at the school, plus it is not the best for Davies to be pushed aside and shunned durring his suspension.
