The last time the two teams met Wyoming still had Heath Schroyer as their head coach and played BYU tough and lost by only seven points, but that game was at home. BYU will use this game to see who will step up and be that next scorer to make up the 12 points a game that Brandon Davies provided. It will be a combination of players that should include Jackson Emery, Charles Abou and James Anderson. Abou has the most potential to fill the scoring void, and he showed his potential by scoring 18 points in the win over San  Diego State.

James Anderson is really the player that needs to step up since he is taking over Davies spot since he is the next big man in the lineup, but Anderson is no where near the talent that Davies is as he is only averaging 1.2 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. Someone needs to step up for BYU, because while Jimmer Fredette is a great scorer he does need some help for BYU to make a deep NCAA tournament run.
