I think the Vandals should join the Mountain West because they have such a sweet prop plane...I took this with my iPhone from my flight home from Reno last weekend after skiing Tahoe for a week.

Idaho's athletic budget must be pretty small
How do they afford something like that? Although I do like the design.

It said Horizon on the side...
may be some sort of sponsorship and I assume even if its not, that having their own plane may become somewhat cost effective when you add in the cost of flying to some of the more remote WAC schools not near a major airport…
I was talking about the big "I" on the back of the plane
But after seeing the Horizon on the side of the plane, I’m thinking it’s more something like Idaho partly owns the plane while Horizon Airlines owns the rest and lets the team use it. Of course Idaho has to pay something in return in order to use it, so it seems something more like a rent of the plane. Just for the record this is all speculation.

horizon airlines is part of alaska airlines. AA is based in seattle washington.
The University of Utah is off to the Pac-12 Conference and will be in the South Division. Hopefully we will get to the first ever Pac-12 Championship Game. Jon " Bones " Jones new light heavyweight champion. Even if Jones got struck flush in the face he would recover and defeat whoever is in front of him. I told everyone the fight would be easy. Almost felt sorry for Rua. Anderson Silva would never fight "Bones". The Cult of Personality is here.

It's only because Boise State already had one
They wanted to represent the other team in Idaho too, there was an incident during the Humanitarian Bowl where the AD for the Vandals wouldn’t fly to Boise because the Horizon Air plane he was flying on was one decked out in Bronco colors, so he drove instead. The Vandal decorated plane followed shortly after…lol
Yeah...
But anyways just to clear it up the plane is completely owned and operated by Horizon Air…it’s just a publicity thing.
Had an awesome time...
Not too expensive when the casinos give u free rooms and u use miles to fly there

Heavenly, since it was within walking distance from Harvey's
next time I was told to go to Ska (I think)
Ska?
I assume you mean Squaw. I like Squaw, but its overpriced. Never been to heavenly, but I’ve heard its nice. I’d recommend trying out some of the different resorts around the lake, might end up cheaper and you’d get to experience different places. problem is getting to them of course, that is pretty cool you can just walk over to the lifts.
Ya Squaw is pretty expensive but its where the 1960 Olympics was at lol.
Boreal is fun and right off of I-80 and I usually go Mount Rose.
northstar is where the new ritz carlton is at although it might say truckee ca on its website.

I hear they are trying to build a huge casino/resort on the North Shore but..
Its being jammed by regulations. What I’ve heard is there was an agreement between Nevada and California to share regulations for Tahoe. Nevada’s regulations says its ok but Californias says no and there’s been talk of Nevada’s side ending the agreement.
