For the second week in a row Jimmer Fredette graces the cover of Sports Illustrated. Let's see if he can unseat the SI curse for another week. Well, the first was a regional cover so maybe the curse was not as strong being divided by five players.

Point sread now +3 for BYU. I took it.
The University of Utah is off to the Pac-12 Conference and will be in the South Division. Hopefully we will get to the first ever Pac-12 Championship Game. Jon " Bones " Jones new light heavyweight champion. Even if jones got struck flush in the face he would recover and defeat whoever is in front of him. I told everyone the fight would be easy. Almost felt sorry for Rua. Anderson Silva would never fight "Bones".

Plus 2d can be deceptive with depth perception
He is shooting this shot from Jimmer range with no defender close. 2D makes you think the defender is closer than he really was.
1) Notice how he is jumping over the head of his team mate.
2) He is also much taller than the team mate that he is jumping over the head of.
3) He is also much taller than the gonzaga player in front of him, just not to the same degree.
Smug self-righteous judgment of others does not make you classy. Going out of your way to call people classless does not make you even classier.
Plus the camera doesn't catch the angels lifting him up.

He did get amazing elevation on that shot. But the perspective definitely exaggerates it.
