While BYU took a bad beating against New Mexico Wednesday night there maybe some good news surround the suspended Brandon Davies. While there is no way he will come back this year to help BYU regain their swagger, but head coach Dave Rose is optimistic about Davies future at BYU:

In the mean time BYU will need to figure out how to play without Davies, and perhaps the loss to New Mexico is a good thing -- even though I never think a loss is a good thing -- since the expectations for BYU are now drastically reduced.
