Heath Schroyer firing made official
Per Laramie Boomerang:
"The University of Wyoming on Monday announced the firing of men’s basketball coach Heath Schroyer.
UW athletics firector Tom Burman made the announcment shortly after 4 p.m., just hours after Schroyer took part in the Mountain West Conference’s weekly coaches teleconference.
Burman also announced that assistant associate head coach Fred Langley would take over as head coach on an interim bases for the rest of the season.
"I regret having to make this decision to terminate Heath’s contract at this time, but I feel it is in the best interest of our program," Burman said in a release. "We are grateful for the time Heath has been our coach."
Schroyer’s current contract would have expired at the endof the 2013-14 season. Under the terms of that contract, UW will pay him $160,000 per year for the remaining three years, said Burman. No state funds will be used to payoff the balance of Schroyer’s contract."
Not that shocking considering just how bad Wyoming has been this season.

i'm sure utah's coach is next to get the axe.
The University of Utah is off to the Pac-12 Conference and will be in the South Division. Hopefully we will get to the first ever Pac-12 Championship Game. Jon " Bones " Jones gets his chance for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title when he faces off against Shogun Rua.
