It's a rare night when Jimner Fredette is not the headliner in Mountain West play, but top billing goes to New Mexico and UNLV which has huge NCAA Tournament ramifications for New Mexico. The Lobos have been sweep by Utah and lost to Wyoming, so they need a big time rebound win to try to get back in the tournament bubble discussion.
The Colorado State and BYU is a big deal, because if the Rams can win they would move very close to a lock status for the tournament, and BYU is trying to not over look the Rams to Saturday's showdown against San Diego State in a battle for a potential number one NCAA Tournament seed.
