Looks like the TCU Horned Frogs are not going to a BCS bowl game for the third straight year and instead are falling to the Poinsettia Bowl to play the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

The Poinsettia bowl is the Mountain West's second bowl bid, and that also means that Boise State is likely headed to the Las Vegas Bowl. Even though conference champions the Mountain West bowl process goes by bowl picking and no requirement to take a certain team by order of finish.

This is not official, but it basically is.

Louisiana Tech finished as the WAC champions and with a record of 8-4, and their best win came against Utah State and Nevada; nothing stellar there.

This game takes place in Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego with a kick off date of Wednesday Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
