BCS Rankings Projections, Week 15: TCU Not Expected To Earn Third Straight BCS Bowl Bid

Stay connected for news and updates

The TCU Horned Frogs are not expected to make their third straight BCS bowl bid. Houston lost which opened the door for TCU to earn the automatic spot for the non-AQ and TCU routed UNLV and their chances looked better. However, over events that happened are expected to keep TCU out of the No. 16 spot.

Baylor dominated Texas and will shoot them up ahead of TCU, Clemson beating Virginia Tech looks to move Clemson ahead of TCU and then the Big 10 title game came down to the wire and thus the loser in Michigan State did not fall behind TCU.

So, unless the BCS Guru is way off (not likely) and the coaches and Harris poll voters move TCU up high enough then it looks like no BCS bowl for TCU.

Projected Week 15 BCS Standings:

1. LSU
2. Oklahoma State
3. Alabama
4. Stanford
5. Oregon
6. Boise State
7. Arkansas
8. Kansas State
9. South Carolina
10. Wisconsin
11. Baylor
12. Virginia Tech
13. Michigan
14. Houston
15. Oklahoma
16. Michigan State
17. Clemson
18. TCU
