Texas A&M defensive coordinator Tim DeRuyter has been offered the Fresno State head coaching job, according to reports out of Sacramento and College Station, Texas. DeRuyter is no stranger to Fresno State or the MWC. He is from Long Beach, Calif., south of Fresno and is a former player and defensive coordinator at Air Force prior to his stint at A&M. DeRuyter is presently serving as the Aggies' interim coach and will be calling the shots at the Meineke Car Care Bowl on New Year's Eve.
