Senior DB Jon Davis was named the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week for his 12 tackle performance against Army on Saturday. He also had an interception and a forced fumble which he recovered that spurred Air Force to a 24-14 win securing the Commander in Chief's Trophy for the second year for the Falcons. Davis was also named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week and was an honorable mention defensive back of the week by the College Football Performance Awards.

Additionally Air Force junior kicker Parker Herrington was named the Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week. He hit all three of his field goal attempts (from 37, 39, and 39) in the Army game. He was also successful on his only PAT of the game. Herrington has hit all 10 of his field goal attempts from inside of 40 yards in his first season as the Air Force place kicker.
