Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

What We Learned From Week 12 Of Mountain West Football

Air  Force Falcons - The rushing game had a big game and Tim Jefferson looked fine after suffering a concussion last week. Air Force rushed for 394 yards with Asher Clark leading the way with 169 yards. This win was what I expected from Air Force when I really liked them.

Boise St. Broncos - No hangover effect for Boise State as they rolled San Diego State. The final score of 52-35 is closer than the actual game. Boise State led 42-14 at the half. Tyler Shoemaker had a career day with 130 yards and three touchdowns.

Colorado St. Rams - A quarterback controversy looks to be heading to Fort Collins as Garret Grayson who played for the injured Pete Thomas put up decent numbers against TCU. Grayson went 14-of-24 for 248 yards with a pick and a touchdown. Those numbers are what Thomas might have put up, but we will see next week.

Star-divide

New Mexico Lobos - Back to the losing ways for New Mexico, hope Bob Davie knows exactly what he is getting into.

San Diego St. Aztecs - Ronnie Hillman had only three carries and the team was blown out by Boise State. Quarterback Ryan Lindley had a game that was a blast from the past where he completed 30-of-51 passes for 350 yards and a score.

TCU Horned Frogs - Casey Pachall may have overlooked Colorado State as he passed for only 117 yards. However, the running game was back with Waymon James rushing for 108 yards. This game reminded me some of last years team, especially when Tank Carder returned an interception for a touchdown.

UNLV Rebels - Well, basketball season is here! UNLV fell back into their losing ways by getting trounced by Air Force. The running game is actually solid for UNLV with 227 yards.

Wyoming Cowboys - They were in a game for a while against New Mexico trailing 10-7, but Brett Smith had another great game by passing for 212 yards and rushing for another 140 with three total scores.
