TCU quarterback Casey Pachall out dueled Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore and every other offensive player in Week 11 college football action. Pachall was named the national player of the week with his performance that included an upset win over the now former No. 5 Boise St. Broncos.
Pachall had a career day by completing 24-of-37 passes for 473 yards and five touchdowns as TCU snapped Boise State's nation-best 35-game home winning streak. The 36-35 victory over Boise State was also the first home conference loss since Boise State lost to the Idaho Vandals in 1998 when they were part of the Big West Conference.
The win for TCU jumped them up in the BCS rankings at No. 19 and actually have the Horned Frogs in position to make the BCS -- if things fall their way like a Houston Cougar loss -- as a two-loss team.
