Is their anybody else concerned about the possibillity of Conference USA taking a strong look at New Mexico if they lose someone to the Big East? Obviously C USA won t lose anyone if Villinova decides to move up, but if they don t CUSA will lose E. Carolina, UCF, Memphis, or Houston. I really don t think that they will just settle for La Tech, I hope they do, but we all know that UTEP and New Mexico would love to be in the same conference. New Mexico is a much better program than La Tech and yes, I know their Football team sucks right now but there  is still alot of upside  if they get the right people to turn their Football program around. New Mexico ,Houston UTEP, SMU, Tulsa and Rice make alot of sense together. I hope The Mountain West invites Utep to prevent this from happening. IF you were CUSA would you just invite La Tech or would you try and poach a better program????
